In the area of bathtub and shower tray sealing, poresta systems has now launched the début of the Poresta® 3D bathtub edge seal set in the market. With it, connection joints between bathtubs and shower trays made of steel and acrylic remain safely and enduringly sealed.

The centrepiece of the new set is the precisely fitted, three-dimensional sealing corner that, for one thing, moulds itself closely to various shower tray contours and, for another, adapts exactly to the building angle at hand. Installation of the sealing corner is tension-free – greatly relieving stress on both the seal and the tiles.

The seal set is caulked to adjoining building elements using composite seals made of dispersion materials (e.g. Poresta® BF sealing compound) or plastic-grout combinations (e.g. Poresta® KMK).

Combined with the Poresta® soundproofing sets, effective acoustic decoupling is provided for.

The Poresta® 3D bathtub edge seal set is ideally suited for Poresta® bathtub supports and Ferroplast® bathtub base systems.
It is supplied in a set with a 2.0 m or 3.0 m sealing tape. In addition, the sealing tape in a 20.0 m length and the 3D sealing corner can be ordered separately.
