Sealing according to standards
A surface that is covered with ceramic slabs and tiles cannot be described as watertight. For this reason, a sealing level below the covering and above the load-bearing component is essential.
The sealing in connection with tile and slab coverings (AIV for short) has proven itself for years in bathrooms and public buildings.
This is regulated by DIN 18534, ÖNorm B 2207 and the SPV leaflet of the Swiss Board Association.
